Random number generator
Fair numbers for raffles, games and draws.
How to generate random numbers
Set the minimum and maximum values (both included), choose how many numbers you need and press Generate. Keep No repeated numbers turned on for raffles and draws where each ticket can only win once.
Is it truly random?
The numbers come from your browser’s cryptographically secure random generator (Web Crypto API), and we use a method that avoids bias, so every number in the range has exactly the same probability. It is much fairer than picking papers from a hat.
Ideas
- Raffles: number the tickets from 1 to the total sold and generate one winner (or several without repeats).
- Social media giveaways: number the comments in order and draw a winner on camera.
- Lottery-style picks: for example, 6 numbers between 1 and 49 without repeats.
- Classroom: pick a random student by their list number.
