How to calculate a tip
Multiply the bill by the tip percentage and divide by 100. For a bill of 80 with a 15% tip: 80 × 15 / 100 = 12, so the total is 92. To split it, divide the total by the number of people. This calculator does it instantly and can round up each person’s share so nobody has to deal with coins.
