Why are some capitals so tricky?
In many countries the capital is not the biggest or most famous city. Sometimes a new, neutral capital was built to settle a rivalry between two great cities (Canberra, Ottawa). Other countries moved the capital inland to develop new regions (Brasília, Abuja), or chose a more central or symbolic city after independence or a revolution (Ankara).
